Biography

Julio Lozada Y Medina was born on 18 April 1913 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to Pascual Lozada Y Diaz and Bruna Medina Y López.[1] On 8 November 1935 he married Maria Hernandez.[2] They had 3 children and Julio worked as a farm laborer to support his family.[3] Their son José Oriel died on 17 June 1962 at 24 years old in an army training exercise.[4] Julio died on 11 August 1994.[5]

1930 US Census - Pascual Lozada Y Diaz, Age 40, is enumerated as head of household, in a rural area of Monotones, Las Piedras, Puerto Rico with his wife Bruna Medina Y López, Age 45. Also present are their children: Julio, Age 14; Angel, Age 11; Felicita, Age 1; Pascual working in cane fields.
