January 25, 2004 Joan L. Jeffers, 88, Syracuse, died on Sunday at Crouse Hospital. Mrs. Jeffers was a member and deacon at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, a member of the Westminster Circle, and a volunteer at Crouse Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Walter M. Jeffers. Survived by: a son Richard M. Jeffers of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter Frances J. Hutt of Hadley, NY; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial in the spring will be in Luzerne Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to Charity.
