Biography
Harmen Luitzens was born in 1722. His parents were Luitjen Symens and Harmke Harmens [1].
He was living in Surhuisterveen in 1749 [2]. He was baptized 27 januari 1757 in 'Doopsgezinde Gemeente Surhuisterveen' [3] possibly with the father of his future (1779) daughter in law Pyter Ruurds).
He was married to Albertje Jans (abt.1720-abt.1800). Together they had the folowing children:
- Harmenke Harmens 1754-1815 [4]
- Luitsen Harmens 1753-
- Jan Harmens (later Huisman) ± 1757-1834 [5]
He died in 1799 in Achtkarspelen, Friesland, Nederland [6].
