Hugh Lukey was born about 1817 and baptised on 25th May 1817 at St Teath, Cornwall, England. He was the son of John Lukey and Elizabeth Rundle. He passed away in 1844.[1]
Hugh Lukey was killed in a mining accident at the Delabole quarry when a large piece of rock/slate gave way and killed four men on the 23 July 1844. He was buried in St Teath Parish Churchyard, St Teath, Cornwall, England.[2][3]
