Biography

Ethel was born in 1886. She was the daughter of Howard Lymburner and Elva Simmerman.^[1] She lived with her parents in Clinton, Lincoln and Niagara, Ontario in 1891.^[2] They lived in Welland, Ontario in 1901^[3]

Ethel married George Vivian Hughes on 28 Feb 1903 in Niagara Fall, New York.^[4] They had two children, including:

• Pearl Elsie Hughes - born 1904^[5]
• Lula Mabel Hughes - born 1905.^[6]

They lived in Durham, Ontario in 1911^[7] and in North Bay, Nipissing, Ontario in 1921.

Ethel passed away in 1944 after falling into a diabetic coma.^[8]
