Biography
Henry was born about 1567. He was the son of Thomas Machen and Christian Baston.
According to the Visitation of the County of Gloucester, Henry married either Ann Walker or Ann Greenfield of Buckinghamshire. [1]
He was described as being of Crickley, Gloucestershire.
Henry had his will drawn up on 20 Oct 1608.[2] He made bequests to and mentioned:
- my eldest son Henry
- my sons Isaac, John, William, Sam and James
- my daughter Elizabeth
- my daughters Hester and Tace
- my youngest daughter Mary
- my father Thomas Machin, Esq
- my wife Anne
- John Baston of Tewkesbury
- Toby Bullocke of Gloucester
