Will

In the name of the benevolent Father of all, I Andrew Mackey of the county of Holmes and State of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1st I give and devise to my sons Andrew Mackey, James Mackey, Abraham Macky, William Mackey, Casper Mackey, and Irvine Mackey each on equal seventh part of all my personal and real estate remaining after my debts are paid, and to my daughter Sarah Ross and Polly Thompson the one seventh part of all my personal and real estate to be divided equal among them

Item 2nd I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Irvine Mackey executor of this my last will and testament hereby authorizing and empowering him to compromise adjust release and discharge in such manner as he may deem proper the debts and claims due me. AI do also authorize and empower him to sell all my personal property at public or private sale as he may think proper also all my real estate to with the farm upon which my son William now resides situate in Knox Twp. county and state aforesaid estimated to contain one hundred acres be the same more or less upon such terms of credit or otherwise as he may think proper if sold on credit to pay to each of the Legators there share of each of the payments as they are paid in and deeds to purchases to execute acknowledge and deliver in fee simple.

Buried Mackey Cemetery, Holmes Co., Ohio. There are two Mackey cemeteries mentioned in early county histories. The exact location of these cemeteries is no longer known, but some dates from the graves there were recorded in these histories that have been passed on.
