Biography

Janet Macky was born in Little Clement Lane, parish of St Clement, on the 30th of July, 1741, and she was baptised non-conformist.^[1][2][3] She was the daughter of George Macky and Penelope Cobcroft.

She married Robert Baldey at St. Clements Danes church on 9 March, 1760. They married by licence, possibly because Janet was underage.^[4]

Robert died in March 1786.

She died in January, 1788, and was buried at St. Anne's churchyard on 20 Jan 1788.^[5]
