Note NI9Goochland County VA 1860 Census
Disappears after death of husband. May have re-married. Daughter,
Lavinia, was in household of grandmother in 1880 Goochland County
Census.
Was 6 on 1850 Goochland County Census
I think she died between 1861 and 1870. There is an entry in the 1870 Census, Goochland County, Byrd District of Molly Grady. She has a child in her household--Virginia Grady age 10. That could be Lavinia--with her name misunderstood. On her marriage license, Lavinia named her mother as Molly. Would Molly be a nickname for Sarah C. Hicks, Calvin Grady's mother?
