Biography
Malinda Angeline "Millie" Manes was born on October 12, 1842, in Tennessee, her father, Pleasant, was 31, and her mother, Mary, was 30. She married George Baine Bristow on July 10, 1861. They had nine children in 16 years. She died on April 18, 1909, in Grants Pass, Oregon, at the age of 66, and was buried there.[1]
