DUMAS — Martha Ann Williams, 78, of Dumas, Ark., and was the daughter of George Washington Manes and Kizzie Runnells Manes, departed this life May 25, 2008, in Pine Bluff, Ark.

She was born Aug. 17, 1929, at Hulbert, Okla.

She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, homemaker and retired sales clerk at Wolff Brothers Department Store until she retired.

She is survived by two sons, Larry (Karen) Williams, Hamburg, Ark., and Dale (Teri) Williams, Monticello, Ark.; and five daughters, Peggy (Dale) Sullivan, Harrison, Ark., Nancy (Johnny) Brown, Gillett, Ark., and Sue (Jerry) Branham, Gillett, Ark., Penny McDaniel, Dumas, Ark., and Andrea (PeWee) Irons, Dumas, Ark., and her 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jay Manes, Monticello, Ark., and Irvin Manes, Dumas, Ark.

Visitation held at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas, Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Services held 2 p.m. today, May 28, Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Julius Carter officiating. Burial in Walnut Lake Cemetery in Dumas, Ark. Grandsons will honor their grandmother by serving as pallbearers.
