Biography

Calogera Mangiameli is born and baptized on 5 January 1845. She is at least the fourth girl by this name born to Domenico Mangiameli and Gaetana Cascio. They are named after their paternal grandmother. Her godparents are Giovanni lo Bello and Francesca lo Cascio. Her godfather is likely the husband of Biagia Cascio; the couple stood as godparents to Calogera's sister of the same name, born the previous year.

Calogera dies at two days of age.
