Hannah (Mann) Pink was born in Norfolk, England.

Hannah's birth was registered in the April - June quarter of 1855 in the Wisbech Union district, where her mother's maiden name was recorded as Cammack.[1] She was baptised the child of James Mann, a farmer from Terrington St Clement, and Sarah Jane, on 20 May 1855 in Terrington St John, Norfolk, England.[2]

In 1861 Hannah was 5 and living with her parents, James, a farmer of 50 acres employing 1 labourer, her mother, Sarah Jane, four sisters and a servant in Clenchwarton, Norfolk.[3]

When she was 15 in 1871 Hannah was living with her father, James, a farmer of 190 acres employing two men in Northwold, Norfolk, her mother, two siblings and a servant.[4]

Hannah's marriage to Thomas Sawkins was registered in the January-March quarter of 1877 in the Alton district of Hampshire, England.[5][6]

But by 3 April 1881 Hannah (age 23) was widowed and living in Newton Village, Newton Valence, Hampshire, with sons Sidney James aged 4 and Herbert Thomas aged 1.[7][8]

Then, on 9 September 1883 Hannah (age 27), married after Banns Albert Pink, a bachelor labourer from East Tisted, Hampshire in East Tisted. The witnesses were his brother John and John's wife Caroline.[9][10][11][12]

At the 1891 census, Hannah (age 36) was living with her husband Albert Pink, a labourer for the Birmingham Corporation, in Bordesley, Aston, Warwickshire, England. With them were her sons Herbert (13) and Charles (10) Sawkins from her previous marriage, Albert (7), Willie (5), Jane (3) and Olive (9 months) from her current marriage and Ann Turner (36), a lodger.[13]

In the 1901 census, Hannah (age 43) was with Albert at 4 Mona Road, Aston. At that time, the family included eight children.[14]

In 1911 Hannah (age 51), Housekeeper, was widowed and living at 126 Herbert Road, Small Herth, Birmingham, with six of her children and a boarder, Henry Woolley..[15]

Hannah was living at 34 Connaught Road, Luton and registered to vote in 1936 in Luton, Bedfordshire, England.[16]
