Clarence was born in 1921. He was the son of Clarence Mann and Mattie Hale. He passed away in 2016.

Clarence Ernest (Ernie) Mann passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Ernie was born on August 29th, 1921 to parents, Mottie Bertha and Clarence Mann, in Henderson, North Carolina. He is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, and his sister Kathryn Rose Mann (1926-2014). Ernie was beloved and leaves behind a large family.

Ernie served his country proudly on active duty during WWII and then continued his service with The National Guard. Ernie retired from the USPS and then worked as a bus driver for Prince Georges County, Maryland Public Schools. Ernie was an exceptionally generous, kind, and gentle soul who loved people from all walks of life, and never knew a stranger.
