Mary above appears to be actually Margaret Dagnall. It should be remembered that Mary and Marg. can look quite similar, and the name may have been miscopied off the original enumeration form into the surviving enumeration book. There is no indication in the records that Margaret Dagnall died and her widower married a woman named Mary afterwards; and there is no death record or 1851 census record for a Mary Dagnall matching the 1841 census entry for her.
