Biography

Spinster. Born Chelsea [census] 6 mar 1798 & baptised St Pancras Old Church 29 mar [baptismal register]. Her parents were given as Thomas & Sarah Marley. In Totteridge 1861 visitng a stockbroker, Probate Effects over £2,000 & under £3,000 [£125,000 to £185,000 in 2017] to Martha Wilson Spinster with whom she was also living in Kensington in 1841 & 1851. She had been living at 8 Lower Grove, Brompton, Middlesex then moved to Liden cottage, Dorking finally dying at Rose Hill Dorking, the address of Martha Wilson.
