- The case was dismissed, the prisoner paying the costs of 8s.

- Tom Marr age 25, Steel Converter charged with stealing a brass syringe, a steel groover and a hammer head on 5th May last.
- Jury acquitted the prisoner on the grounds that the ownership of the articles had not been proved and the statements for the prosecution were not to be relied upon.
