Biography
Joseph Martel, son of Jean François Martel and Magdeleine Vanier of Charlesbourg, New France, was born in 1706.[1] He was married to Marie Agnes Paquet from 1730[2] until her death in 1773, and married Marie Anne Gauvin in 1777.[3]
Joseph died on 15 March 1779 and was buried the following day in Charlesbourg.[4][5]
