A descendant of George Martyn of Salisbury, Mass.
Raymond enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 19, 1917, and joined the 26th division. He was killed in action on September 26, 1918, in France during world war I.
Raymond was the son of Eugene L and May Martin. He was the only child of this union.
