Biography
Sarah was born in about 1826 in Due West, Abbeville, South Carolina, United States. She was the daughter of James Dunn Martin and Mary (Lindsay) Martin.
When Sarah was about 23 she married Thomas L. Painter in about 1849. The couple had one child: Sarah Ugenia. Reference: 75817
