Dr. Francis V. Martin. Martin died December 13, 1946. He died of a heart attack, suffered while taking an X-Ray picture with a portable X-Ray machine. He did outstanding work in X-Ray and was the first doctor in LaPorte county to have an X-Ray machine. He received honorable mention from the National Roentgen-Ray Society. He was one of five physicians who founded the Clinic Hospital in Michigan City. Now known as Doctor's Hospital.
