Oscar Mason is a part of US Black heritage.
Oscar was born about 1924. He was the son of John Mason and Lucy Stephens.
In the 1930 census Oscar (age 6) was the son of John Mason in Boykins, Southampton, Virginia, United States.[1]
In the 1940 census Oscar (age 16) was the single son of John Mason in Capron District, Southampton, Virginia, United States.[2]
Oscar registered for he WWII U.S. military draft on 30 June 1942 in Capron, Southampton, Virginia, United States.[3]
Oscar (age 23), son of John Mason & Lucy Stephen, married Doretha Ellen (Blow) Mason (abt.1927-2009) (age 20) on 15 February 1947 in Southhampton, Virginia, United States.[4] Oscar and Doretha had ten children.
In the 1950 census Oscar (age 26), Farmer, was the never married head of household in Capron, Southampton, Virginia, United States.[5]
Oscar passed away in 1993 in Richmond, Virginia.[6]
