Biography

Charlton was born about 1817 and baptised 25th February 1817 ^[1].

He married Jane (Wilkinson) Mason in 1838^[2] and had a son Thomas Mason, and daughter Mary Mason.

In 1841 the family lived in Bellingham ^[3] His mother Margery] lived a couple of houses away.

He is mentioned on his son's marriage record in 1870 ^[4].

In later years, Charlton lived in Prudhoe ^[5] .
