Biography
Maren was born 27 December 1800[1], the first child of Mathias Ernst and Bodil Andersdatter. She is recorded in the 1801 census as 1 year old. [2]
Maren married Hans Dummelstorf (or Dumelstrup) on October 24, 1823. Hans was 63.[3]
Maren had two children by Hans:
- Ole Hansen (born 1 March 1827)
- Kirstine Margrete Hansdatter (born 2 September 1829)
The family lived in Ydere Skoven in 1834.[4]
Hans died 10 February 1838.[5] Maren remarried, to Niels Olsen on 2 June 1838.[6]
Maren had two children by Niels:
- Hans Nielsen (born 31 Jan 1839)
- Anders Nielsen (born 13 April 1842)
The family lived in Skoven until at least 1870.
