Biography

André was born in 1785. He is the son of Augustin Matte and Euphrosine Ouimet. He married Marguerite Ethier on 16 Sep 1809. They had a son, André in 1810. Marguerite died in 1818. André remarried to Marie-Anne Cadieux on 20 Jan 1820. Andre died sometime after the birth of his daughter, Angele in November, 1823.
