Biography
Blacksmith, Arrived in Melbourne 14th of August 1858 aboard "Africa", with wife Isabella and sister Jessie.
NOTE REGARDING PARENTAGE
Thomas's Victorian death certificate correctly provides his mother's name, Margaret Young, but the Victorian BDM index has it as "Bridget Young". This has led to many faulty trees on Ancestry, FamilySearch, etc. Please do not repeat this mistake.
