Barbara was born about 1782.
Her mother’s name is not recorded, but she has been attributed as a daughter of Daniel Maÿern, who served in the Revolutionary War, as Dragoon in Continental Army.
She passed away in 1833 or 1880 depending on who you believe. She appears on the 1870 US Fed Census, age 85 living in the home of what may be a married daughter.

Her profile at Strausstown Roots says Barbara's family name is Ferree (b. ~1762- ), but this is unsourced[3]There are, however, people with that surname living in Dauphin County at that time.
