Biography
John Mayne was born in about 1868 in Farncombe, Surrey. He was the son of Joseph Mayne and Martha (Elson) Mayne.
John married Emily Rebecca Miles in 1892 in Guildford district.
Emily died on 27 Apr 1937, aged 69, at her home, 4, Dean Road, Godalming. She was buried on 30 Apr 1937 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section.
John died on 9 Sep 1946, aged 78, at his home, 4, Dean Road, Godalming. He was buried on 13 Sep 1946 with his wife.
