Biography
When Abner McAfee was born on March 7, 1774, in Rutherford, North Carolina, his father, James, was 37 and his mother, Mary, was 39. He had 11 sons and eight daughters. He died on December 6, 1844, at the age of 70.
Abner's marriage to Mary Quinn is mentioned in Madge Quinn Fugler's, Quinn and allied families.[1]
Abner and family are mentioned in grandson Rev Amzi Clarence Dixon's biography written by his second wife Helen (Cadbury) Alexander Dixon.[2]
