According to the 1900 Census, Maggie was about 12 years old and living with her family in Brown, Fayette County, Alabama on a farm. Household members were father William H. (40); mother Emma (37); and siblings Lula M. (14); Ethel (8): Andrew C. (8); Exie (2); and Clyde (10 months).[1]
On 13 Jan 1907 Maggie married James L. Phillips in Fayette County, Alabama.[2] Their children were:

Maggie passed away on 12 Feb 1983 aged 95 in Alabama.[3] She was laid to rest in the New River Baptist Church Cemetery, Hubbertville, Fayette County, Alabama.[4]
