Belle Zora (McCaleb) Floyd was born on 2 Nov 1886 in Fayette County, Alabama, USA. She was the daughter of Hugh Roscoe McCaleb (1862 - 1948) and Nancy Bashia Hollingsworth (1865 - 1948). Her siblings were:

On 4 Feb 1906 Belle married Andrew V. Lloyd in Fayette County, Alabama.^[2] They had no children.

In 1910 Belle and Andrew (called Vennie in the Census record) were living in Gilpin, Fayette County, Alabama. The Census states they had been married about four years.^[3]

Belle was listed as Andrew's spouse on his World War I Draft Registration Card.^[4]

Belle and Andrew were living on Toppen Street in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. They have a family boarding with them.^[5]

By 1930 Belle and Andrew had moved back to Gilpin, Fayette County, Alabama. Andrew was farming.^[6]

In 1940 Belle and Andrew were still living in Gilpin.^[7]

Belle and Andrew moved to Vail, Lamar County, Alabama by 1950. According to the Census, Belle was unemployed and Andrew was working as a clerk.^[8]

Belle passed away on 8 Jan 1969 in Winfield, Marion County, Alabama aged 82.^[9] She was laid to rest in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Bluff, Fayette County, Alabama.^[10].
