Maxie Bidwell McChesney was born on 10 Jan 1893 in Freedonia, Kentucky, United States. He was the son of Richard Washington McChesney and Missouri Ann Elder^[1]

Both his parents died before 1910. He and his other 3 siblings were in the household of their half brother William J McChesney when the 1910 census was enumerated.^[2]

Maxie Bidwell married Leala Hillard (1895 - 1987) on 18 November 1916 in Marion, Crittenden County, Kentucky.^[3]

Maxie Bidwell died on 26 Sep 1967 in Helena, Phillips, Arkansas aged 74.^[4]
