Biography
Georgia Octavia McCoy was born on 24 October 1914 in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone, Panamá. She was the daughter of James Griffith McCoy (1886–1970) and Janie Adele Overton (1893–1945).[1]
In 1930, Georgia McCoy, age 15, was living in in household of her father, C. James McCoy, in Prichard, Mobile County, Alabama.[2]
She married Unknown Bryant before 1936.[1]
When the 1940 United States Census was taken, Georgia was living as a lodger in the household of Zula L. Persons in Prichard, Mobile County, Alabama. She was 25 years old, divorced, and working as a machine tender in a factory.[3]
She married Killian Alexander about or before 1942.[1] Killian Alexander died in 1955.[4]
She married James Dennison Lucas on 01 April 1956 in Mobile County, Alabama.[1]
Georgia Octavia (McCoy) Lucas died on 27 January 2001, aged 86.[1] She was buried in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.[5]
