Mary Ann "Mollie" McCOY was born on 19 April 1869 in Braxton County, West Virginia [1], [2], [3], [4] and died after 1910. She was the daughter of George McCoy and Malinda ROLLYSON.[5], [6]

  17. ↑ Source of Divorce between Lemuel DENNIS and Mary McCOY needed - Information that a divorce occurred was in Otmer Ronald Gorrell (now deceased) notes where he sent a typed page of the court record between Mary A. DENNIS Vs. -- In Chancery. Lemuel DENNIS in which it stated that the "plaintiff be and she hereby is divorced from the defendant" it also stated that "the plaintiff do have and retain full custody and control of the infant child, Hazel, fruit of the marriage between said parties." It also mentioned that the "Plaintiff do recover from the defendant said sum of $155, of which $55 is to be paid Jan. 9 1904..." this points to the fact that the divorce probably occurred before 9 January 1904. Unfortunately Otmer Ron Gorrell did not name the original source in the typed document.
