Biography

Muriel was born in 1924 in Dubuque IA.

She was the daughter of Leo McCune and Othilia Schenker. In 1924, Othilia and her husband Leo Joseph McCune were living in Dubuque County Iowa, Peru township, when she gave birth to an unnamed daughter. The Iowa Standard Certificate of Birth shows that Leo McCune was occupied as a meat cutter and that Othilia was occupied as a housewife age 29. The CoB does not list a name for the daughter but states that she was born alive on September 7 1924. ^[1] The birth date and other information is consistent with that of Muriel Margaret McCune listed in Find A Grave below therefore it appears this is the birth certificate for Muriel. The information is also consistent with the McCune Family Recorded History. ^[2]

She is buried in Abilene TX at the Elmwood Memorial Park. ^[3]
