In 1920, John and Ollie were in Beaumont, Riverside County, California. Daughter Ethel was living in their household.[6] John and Ollie were living alone in Beaumont in 1930[7] and 1940[8].
He passed on April 14, 1949, in Riverside, California. He is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Beaumont, Riverside County, California[9][10]
