Biography

John McGee was born on August 19, 1862, in Missouri, United States. His parents were John McGee and Nancy Wilson.

In 1870, John and Nancy McGee resided in Salt River, Ralls County, Missouri with children John, James, Mary and Katie.[1]

In 1880, John and Nancy McGee were still in Salt River, Missouri with a total of five children at home.[2]

John H. McGee married Ollie Piper on November 20, 1887, in Ralls, Missouri, [3] Together they had 2 children:

  1. Aden McGee
  2. Ethel McGeeJ

In 1900, John H. and Ollie B. McGee lived in Twin Groves, Missouri with children Aden and Ethel.[4]

By 1910, the family had moved to Los Angeles, California.[5]

In 1920, John and Ollie were in Beaumont, Riverside County, California. Daughter Ethel was living in their household.[6] John and Ollie were living alone in Beaumont in 1930[7] and 1940[8].

He passed on April 14, 1949, in Riverside, California. He is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Beaumont, Riverside County, California[9][10]
