my Grandfather Sherm was priming the carburator on a car with an open can of gas. A flame shot out of the engine which ignited the open can of gas he was holding causing him to sling the flaming can away from him but caught Lela's clothes on fire burning her. A blanket was wrapped around her to smother fire and she lived for 18 days before succumbing to her injuries
