Mary was born about 1835. She was the daughter of Thomas McGinnis and Sarah Blackman. She passed away about 1927.

The death occurred recently at her home at Randwick of Mrs. Mary Ann Ford widow of Mr John Ford, formerly of Macquarie House, Bathurst, Book Booka Station, on the Macquarie River, and Gandrin Station on the Lachlan River. Mrs. Ford, who was 92 years of age, was a member of a family of pioneer pastoralists and settled at Bigga, in the Abercrombie district.
