Biography

"Charlie was a cowboy to the bone. He once moved to a city job for a time, but soon went back to life on the range, rounding up the herds as a ranch hand until the end of his days in the Pagosa Springs area.

He and his little sister, Josie, were raised by their big sister, Hattie and husband Dutch Burster, after their parents died only a year apart when Charlie and Josie were just little tykes. Dutch was a well-known rodeo local in his own right, and Charlie's dad had been a rancher, so is was not unexpected for Charlie to take an interest in life on the range." (from findagrave.com)
