Celia was born in 1817. She was the daughter of James McKinney and Dehlia Caldwell. She married James Legg Feb. 3, 1834 in Limestone, Alabama. She passed away about 1884. [1]

In 1885 Wm. H. Walker, Attorney, filed notice to Probate Court that Celia was dec'd and was at the time of her death a non resident of Ala. Her children sold her land, 1 Oct 1899 to Sarah Cunningham.
