Biography
When William Henry McLeroy was born on May 29, 1878, in Pike, Georgia, his father, John, was 24 and his mother, Martha, was 19. He married Vesta Gertrude Shipp and they had eight children together. He also had one son and six daughters with Clytie Ester Wooten. He died on January 7, 1963, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 84.
