Biography
Ann's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1844 in the Cockermouth district.[1] She was the daughter of John McMinn and Isabella Unknown.
In the 1881 census Ann (age 36), Keeper, was the unmarried daughter of Isabella Mcminn in Workington, Cumberland, England.[2]
Ann's death (age 53) was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1898 in the Cockermouth district.[3]
Research Note
The sources for the 1881 Census cited above describe her as "widowed", but an examination of the original text confirms that she was unmarried.
