Biography
Australia Death Index 1787-1985 for son James Lee Chung (Jas Lee Chang) lists Father's Name Lee Chang Jas and Mother's name Alice Jane McMullen. Ballarat Old Cemetery Record shows Alice Lee Chung buried 01/09/1904 in same location as husband James Lee Chung (buried 16/09/1901) and son James Lee Chung (buried 26/03/1902).
Research Note
From Laurel McKenzie McKenzies-7935 - Annie's brother James Lee Chung (Lee_Chung-2) is my great grandfather, but I knew nothing about this family until quite recently. My grandfather, James Lee, dropped the 'Chung' from his name. His father died within a year of his birth, his mother remarried and I doubt that any of his children or possibly even his wife knew about his Chinese ancestry.
