Biography

Alonzo (McNear) McNair is a part of US Black heritage.

Alonzo McNair was born about 1855 in Georgia. In 1880 he was living in Wilkinson County with his wife Mary and young son.

In 1900 they were living in "Jones", Dodge County, Georgia with their five children. They were living in the same area in 1910.

In 1940 Alonzo was widowed and had moved to Chicago with his daughter Mary (Early). His son Horace was also living in Chicago.

Burial Location Unknown.
