Biography

William McRobie was born in Aberdour, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on the 12th of November 1832. He was the son of Alexander McRobie and Rebecca Sim.

William married, at age 22, to Ann Johnston.
They were married in Old Deer, Aberdeen, Scotland, on the 19th of May 1855. ^[1]

Both William and his wife Ann were buried at Mataura Cemetery, in Southland, New Zealand.
