Halifax, Nova Scotia, 17 Mar 1856, Henry Nicholas Paint, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Member of Parliament (Conservative) for Richmond Co. in the Dominion Parliament (b. Belle Vue, Strait of Canso, Cape Breton Island, 10 Apr 1830; he m. 2ndly and d. 3 Artillery Row, Halifax, 29 Sept 1921, having by his 2nd wife had further issue); she d. Halifax c. 1891, leaving issue, 1 son and 4 daus. (a scholarship was founded in her memory by her daus., Mary and Flora Mander, Wolfville Seminary for Women, Diamond Jubilee, 1897).[1]
Her name is also found spelled "Christiana".
