Biography

Six of Patrick's siblings, all younger than Patrick, appear in the baptismal register for Cappawhite. Patrick does not. It's possible that his childhood family settled in Cappawhite parish only after Patrick was born.

Had arrived in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, by 1859. Apparently had earlier resided in New York.

Patrick is listed as a boarder with a young couple, Charles and Mary Furey, both born in Ireland. Given that Patrick's 1891 estate involved real property, it may have been that the young couple was boarding with him.
