Bennison was born in 1869 and registered Bennison Gales Medd in the third quarter of 1869 at Leeds, Yorkshire [1] the son of Robert Medd (1843-) and .Sarah Margaret (Gales) Medd (1846-abt.1903),

In 1871 he was living with his grandfather at Ruswarp, Yorkshire, England. [2][3].

In 1881 he was living with his mother and grandfather at Ruswarp, Yorkshire,Yorkshire , England[4][5].

He was married to Lily Fowler on 25 December 1895 at Yorkshire - North Riding, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom [6].

Benison had the following children

  1. Bennison Gales Medd (1897-1897),
  2. Margaret Julia Gales Medd (1899-1943),

Frederick Roberts Medd MBE (abt.1901-1966),

  1. George Henry Benison Medd (1905-1983).

In 1901 he was living as head of household at Wheatley, Yorkshire, England [7].

On 2 April he was married and living as head of household at 1911 Doncaster, Yorkshire-West Riding, England [8].

He died in September 1917 in Doncaster, Yorkshire West Riding, England [citation needed].
