Through the Medleys the Buxted estate passed in succession as follows:
i. Thomas Medley I (from 1722 until he died in 1728) followed by his son:
ii. Thomas Medley II (from 1728 until he died in 1732) followed by his son:
iii. Thomas Medley III (from 1732 until he died in 1735) followed by his three brothers:
iv. Samuel (1735 until 1741),
v. Edward (1741 until 1751) and,
vi. George (1751 until 1796).
