Myrtle was born in 1893. She is the daughter of Erick Arntson Melby and Ingeborg Olsdatter Estenstad.[1][2][3][4] She married John Sims February 24, 1913.[5][6] She divorced John Sims and married Thomas Bates June 12, 1923 in Cranbrook, B.C., Canada.[7] She married Arnold M. Beach in 1927. She died in 1964.[8]
